入排标准
入选标准
- •1.New onset of fever ( >100.4°F) with or without leukopenia (<=4000 WBC/mm3) or leukocytosis (>=12,000 WBC/mm3)
- •2.New onset of purulent sputum/change in character of sputum/increased respiratory secretions and/or worsening gas exchange
- •3.Radiological (Chest X-ray or CT Chest) evidence of consolidation.
- •4.Being on invasive mechanical ventilation anytime within past 48-hours.
排除标准
- •1.Patients <18 years of age
- •2.Pregnant ladies
- •3.Refusal of consent
- •4.Patient already on intravenous polypeptide antibiotics for some other indication or requiring intravenous polypeptide administration for suspicion of other nosocomial infections
- •5.Known hypersensitivity to Colistin.
