The number of subjects analyzed was 121 in the HF group and 93 in the control group. The difference between the two groups was significant (p<0.05). The number of patients with FAC > 2 at discharge was 106 (87%) in the HF group and 69 (74%) in the control group, significantly more in the HF group (p<0.05). Immobility-related complications and neurological adverse events were not significantly different between the two groups.

•Subarachnoid hemorrhage, infratentorial lesion, ventilator management, mRS greater than 4 before onset, palliative care, patients undergoing dialysis, surgically treated cases, and patients who met our discontinuation criteria for early mobilization were excluded.
