入排标准
入选标准
- •Age group 20-40 yrs.
- •Subjects having CBCT- periapical score 4 & 5. ( Diameter of periapical radiolucency >4-8 mm & >8mm respectively ) . This new PAI score was based on CBCT (CBCT-PAI) and introduced in 2008 by Estrela et al.[17]
- •Failed re-RCT with persistent sign and symptoms of infection eg. Swelling, sinus, pus discharge etc.
- •Subjects requiring periapical root end surgery involving anterior teeth.
- •Subjects with sufficient motivation and capable of reporting back to the clinic for follow up visits.
排除标准
- •Subjects diagnosed with diabetes mellitus or any systemic diseases which is likely to influence healing
- •Patients requiring re-apicoectomy.
- •Smokers and alcoholics.
- •Patients with bone disorders.
- •Patients with anomalies of blood and immune system.
- •Patients with malignant tumors and/ or on cancer therapy.
- •Pregnant females.
