入选标准
- •Every patient who had urinary catheter inserted in ER, general wards, and intensive care units of the medical, surgical, and neurosurgical department
排除标准
- •- Any patients who had preexisting urological diseases/abnormalities e.g., renal calculi, suprapubic cystostomy
- •- History of allergic reaction to Savlon solution
- •- Any patients who have significant bacteriuria at baseline urine culture
- •- Any patients with provisional diagnosis with UTIs
- •- Unknown periurethral cleaning solution used
- •- Any patients who anticipted to have their urinary catheter removed within 24 hours
