- •1.IUGR neonates diagnosed during pregnancies by antenatal ultrasound as abdominal Circumference < 10th percentile for gestational age after 20 weeks of gestation ) and no cause detected for IUGR
- •2. Mothers of these IUGR neonates

- •i. Multiple births
- •ii. Proven Intrauterine infection
- •iii. Major malformations
- •iv. Maternal chronic diseases
- •v. Identifiable syndromic neonate
