入排标准
入选标准
- •Patients in age group of 30-65 years.
- •Patients of either sex.
- •Controlled case of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus either by drug or life style modification.
- •Fasting blood sugar <= 140 mg/dl or HbA1c- <= 7%
- •Patients able to participate in the study to follow the instructions
- •Subjective Parameters:
- •Patients showing any one of the following symptoms will be suspected and has to go further screening through Diabetes Risk Profiler and Investigations;
- •1.Increasing body weight
- •3.Exertional dyspnea
- •4.Xanthelasma
- •5.Corneal arcus
- •6.Controlled Essential Hypertension
- •Objective Parameters:
- •1.Arterial stiffness index to be evaluated with Diabetes Risk Profiler (Borderline,
- •Mild & Moderate Arterial stiffness)
- •2.Fasting blood sugar <= 140 mg/dl or HbA1c- <= 7%
- •3.Lipid profile:
- •Any two of the following
- •1.Total Cholesterol: 200-300 mg/dl
- •2.Serum Triglyceride: 200-300 mg/dl
- •3.LDL Cholesterol: 100-150 mg/dl
- •4.HDL Cholesterol: 30-50 mg/dl
- •5.VLDL Cholesterol: 30-50 mg/dl
排除标准
- •Exclusion Criteria:
- •1.Patients below 30 years and above 65 years of age.
- •2.Uncontrolled case of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. HbA1c > 7%
- •3.Arterial Stiffness Index (Severe Arterial Stiffness)
- •4.Patients on lipid-lowering drugs
- •5.Any co-morbid condition
- •6.Alcoholic
- •7.Pregnant and lactating women.
