•1.Patients of insomnia suffering up to 2 years duration.
•2.Patients of either sex with age group 25-65 years.
•3.Anidra (insomnia) patients complaining of Angamarda (bodyache), Shirogaurava (heaviness in the head), Shirashoola (headache).

•1.Anidra (insomnia) due to other conditions such as Madatyaya (alcoholism), Abhighata (injury), and other systemic diseases.
•2.Patients with secondary insomnia.
•3.Psychiatric patients on treatment. Drug induced insomnia.
•4.Patients who are already on treatment for insomnia.
•5.Patients on hypnotic medicine or other drugs known to cause drowsiness.
•6.Pregnant and lactating women.
•7.Chronic debilitating diseases.
•8.Malignant Hypertension.
•9.Pregnant ladies and lactating mothers.
•10.Patients contraindicated for Shirodhara karma.
•11.Patient not willing for Karma.
•12.Individuals whom have had a negative or paradoxical response to an OTC sleep supplement or OTC sleep medication.
•13.Individuals with a history of psychiatric illnesses or psychiatric disorders.
•14.Individuals who are unaware of specific psychiatric diagnoses but had a history of treatment with antidepressant, neuroleptic medications, or major tranquilizers.
•15.Subjects will also be questioned to demonstrate their full understanding of the requirements, demands, and risks of the study and informed of the option to withdraw at any time.
