- •In the second trimester of pregnancy;
- •Has mild anaemia;
- •Not received any supplementation earlier;
- •Willing to participate in the study
- •Use only the salt provided for household cooking
- •Regularly consume the tablets provided
- •Provide information on tablet and salt intake;
- •Provide information on side effects if any and also pregnancy outcome

- •Not willing to participate in the study;
- •Women in first or third trimester;
- •Women with past obstetric problems, current health problems;
- •Had earlier received supplementation/other medication.
