简要总结
This is an experimental study; participants blinded, A clinical trial to study the effectiveness of feedback based therapy for dysphagia in post stroke. this study will be conducted in Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education And Research, Porur, Chennai, India. Patients who meet the inclusion criteria will be recruited and allocated into control and interventional group. Informed consent will be obtained. Detailed swallowing evaluation using Functional Oral Intake Scale(FOIS), Number of days of Nasogastric tube dependence and EMG muscle activity will be obtained before and after therapy. Interventional group will be receiving Feedback based therapies along with conventional therapy and control group will be receiving conventional therapy. The duration of the treatment will be for 10 days. On completion of treatment duration, the post interventional outcome will be evaluated using FOIS and pre and post EMG activity of suprahyoid muscle will compared to obtain the result of the study.

- •Medically stable complaints of swallowing and non-oral feeding Functional oral intake scale less than or equal to two Mini-mental state examination score of 21 or more than 21.
排除标准
- •Neurological disease other than stroke Impaired communication ability Upper gastrointestinal disease.
