•Healthy adult volunteers, 15 males and 15 females. The minimum age requirement has been set at 18 = years of age.

•- Persons with salivation rates deviating from predetermined norm values
•- Persons who take medication with known effects on salivary flow or intraoral pH value
•- Women who are pregnant
•- Persons participating in another clinical trial at the same time
•- Persons with known allergies or intolerances towards an ingredient in the test toothpastes
•- Persons with less than 20 teeth
•- Persons wearing any active orthodontic appliances at the time of the study (with the
•exception of a dental retainer)
•- Persons with any open intraoral wounds
•- Persons with dental appointments (dentist or dental hygienist) scheduled less than one day from study trial appointments (Procedures performed during dental appointments may cause intraoral bleeding (for example after periodontal probing), influence salivary flow or intraoral pH (for example through the use of anaesthetics or etching agents)).
•- Persons unable to give an informed consent or to follow protocol requirements and procedures
