The present clinical trial describes a split-mouth design to evaluate the the possible clinical effects and regenerative potential of three different adjunctive agents as compared to open flap debridement for surgical periodontal therapy. A total of 10 patients ( 40 quadrants) who fulfilled the inclusion criteria were taken into the study and were randomly divided into 4 groups.

- •Medically healthy patients.
- •Patient who have persistent PPD equal to or more than 5 mm and CAL equal to or more than 4 mm.
- •Patients who want to participate in the study.
- •Patients who are capable of maintaining proper dental hygiene.
排除标准
- •Patients who have uncontrolled systemic diseases.
- •Patients who had flap surgery during the last six months.
- •Patients who require extensive osseous manipulation.
- •Patients who are on antibiotic and long term steroids.
- •Tobacco chewers and smokers.
- •Pregnant and lactating women.
