入选标准
- •All non-smoking community-dwelling adults categorized as overweight or obese by BMI will be included.
- •Both genders.
排除标准
- •1. Past smoking habit.
- •2. Self-reported or diagnosed metabolic diseases or drug treatments that could alter the metabolism.
- •3. Self-reported or diagnosed muscular or neuromuscular diseases.
- •4. Presence of thoracic deformity, which is determined as a thoracic index within the average for the participantâ??s age plus or minus two standard deviations.
- •5. Any alterations in the physiological curvature of the spine, examined by observation.
- •6. Self-reported or diagnosed chronic broncho-pulmonary diseases and episodes of pneumothorax.
- •7. Self-reported or diagnosed diseases such as cancer and heart disease, which may aï¬?ect fat distribution.
