- •Patients with hypertrophy of tonsils and causing obstructive sleep apnea
- •Patients above 14 years of age
- •Patients who fail medical therapy

- •Patients with active infection, bleeding disorders
- •Patients with uncontrolled diabetes, hypertension, coronary artery disease, bronchial asthma
- •Patients with contraindications to general anaesthesia
