•1. the patient presented with cardinal features of Grahani roga as described in Ayurvedic texts.
•2. Randomly selected irrespective of their cast, religion and sex.
•3. Patients with the age group of 19-60 years.
•4. Willing and able to participate in the study.

•1. The patient below 19 years and above 60 years of age.
•2. Patients suffering from Gastritis, Intestinal obstructions, Intestinal tuberculosis, Ulcerative colitis and other abdominal disorders.
•3. Patients suffering from major systemic illnesses necessitating long term drug treatment like Hyperthyroidism, inflammatory bowel disease, tuberculosis, uncontrolled diabetes, Hypertension, Psycho neuro endocrinal disorders.
•4. Patients with concurrent serious hepatic/ renal disorders, severe pulmonary dysfunction or any type of malignancies.
•5. Patient on prolonged ( > 6 weeks ) medication with corticosteroids, anti depressants, anticholinergics etc.
•6. Alcoholics and any other drug abusers.
•7. Pregnant and lactating women.
