•1. Age greater than or equal to 18 y and
•2. Scheduled for elective surgery.
•3. All onco-surgical patients, whose mother tongue is Bengali and Hindi respectively

•1. Patients not fluent in Bengali and Hindi respectively
•2. Inability to obtain consent.
•3. Patients with a psychiatric condition or cognitive impairment.
•4. Emergency surgery.
•5. With a known history of substance abuse.
•Any severe pre-existing medical conditions that limited objective assessment after the operation.
•6. Patients not expected to be able to answer the QoR-15 scale on Post- operative period. (e.g. expected postoperative mechanical ventilation, life-threatening postoperative complications)
