入选标准
- •1. Patients aged 18-90 years and newly diagnosed VAP or HAP.
- •2.Clinical suspicion of VAP with the following criteria â?? More than 48 hours of endotracheal intubation and ventilation, chest x-ray showing new, persisting, progressive chest infiltrates, clinical symptoms of fever, leucopenia ( <=4000/µL or >=12,000/µL), new onset purulent sputum, increased oxygen requirement, worsening gas exchange, temperature >38°C or 100.4°F.
- •3.HAP contracted in a patient with at least 48 hours of hospital stay.
排除标准
- •Pediatric age group < 18 years of age.
- •Patients who are not intubated and not on invasive mechanical ventilation.
- •Patients with < 48 hours of hospitalization.
