- •Patients with an acute phase of major depressive disorder (MDD) as diagnosed using DSM-5 criteria, aged above 18 years, both sexes, and newly diagnosed within 3 months, with Thai HRSD ≥ 16 (moderate to severe depression) were included to the study.
排除标准
- •Patients with the followings were excluded: (1) major depressive disorder with psychotic features; (2) schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders; (3) bipolar disorders; (4) dementias; (5) organic mental disorders; (6) substance-induced mood disorders, as assessed by psychiatric history taking and mental status examination by the investigators.
