入选标准
- •Intubated patients of more than 18 years of age were included in the study
排除标准
- •1. Patients requiring emergency tracheostomy.
- •2. Patients with cervical spine injury.
- •3. Distorted neck anatomy
- •4. Any infection at the tracheostomy site
- •5. Morbidly obese patients( BMI > 35)
- •6. Platelet count less than 50000/cu. mm
- •7. INR more than 1.5
- •8. Positive end expiratory pressure (PEEP) more
- •than 15 cm H2O.
- •9. Fraction of inspired oxygen (FiO2)
- •requirement more than 80%.
