•Low back pain with unilateral lumbosacral radicular pain (sharp, shooting or lacanting pain perceived in skin and deep) for at least 3 month duration not responding to medication and physical therapies
•BMD T score of more than â?? 1.0 SD of the total hip and spine.
•Evidence of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of disc herniation at 1-2 levels.

•Patient with history of surgery on lumbar Spine,
•Spinal canal stenosis, spondylolisthesis
•Allergic to contrast or steroid .
•Bleeding diathesis,
•Patient who received lumbar epidural steroid injection in past six months or using systemic steroid for pain relief
•Pregnant patients
•History of disease known to affect bone turnover,
•Documentation of abnormal serum thyrotropin levels, high parathyroid hormone levels, or using drugs known to affect bone metabolism,
•History of intake of oral, parenteral, or inhaled glucocorticoids for more than 4 weeks or an intra-articular injection in the preceding year.
