- •History of Steven-Johnson syndrome, chemical, thermal, and radiation injury
- •Impaired skin sensation
- •Hypersensitive to heat

- •History of eye injury or surgery
- •Long-term topical eye drops use
- •Contact lens usage
- •Body temperature > 38.0 degree celsius
