- •Upper limb weakness
- •National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale score between 2 and 16 at inception

- •Contraindications to Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation or Magnetic Resonance Imaging
- •Medications known to alter neural excitability
- •Cognitive impairment precluding informed consent
