入排标准
入选标准
- •Children in the age group of 1-10 years attending the Pediatric O.P.D. of J.N. Med. College, A.M.U. will be screened for eligibility for inclusion in the study.
排除标准
- •1)Refusal of parental consent
- •2)Features of nutritional rickets or serum vitamin D levels <10ng/ml.
- •3)History of repeated fractures
- •4)Chronic medical disorders e.g., chronic diarrhea, chronic liver disease, chronic renal disease
- •5)Vitamin D / mineral supplements ( including herbal drugs ) within 8 wks
- •6)Blood transfusion within 3 months
- •7)Malignancy
- •9)Children on anticonvulsant medications, glucocorticoids, antifungals such as ketoconazole, and medications for AIDS
