入选标准
- •18 years of age or dlder
- •smoked at least 10 cigarettes per day during the preceding year
- •had smoked for at least 3 years
- •motivated to stop smoking or wanted to reduce their cigarette consumption
排除标准
- •history of any serious clinical disease (i.e., cancer, cardiovascular, cerebrovascular, endocrine, gastrointestinal, and pulmonary disease; significant hepatic or renal impairment; and neurologic or psychiatric disorders)
- •had attempted to stop smoking in the past 12 months using NRTs
