- •1. Trauma patients requiring surgery within 72 hours
- •2. Who consent to participate in the study

- •1. Failure to give consent.
- •2. Obese persons i.e Body Mass Index (BMI) over 40 Kg/m2

- •4. Patients unable to turn and lie in lateral position due to any reason
- •5. Patients with an orogastric illness which could affect the results (i.e Cancer of the stomach,
