- •Here patients included are diagnosed with Amavata and duration of disease is 5±4 years.Diagnosis of amavata would be on the basis of Ayurvedic principles of Madhava Nidanam of Madhavakara.Patients diagnosed with Amavata would to be subjected to undergo clinical examination by an allopathic doctor in SDM hospital in Udupi for the diagnosis of RA based on 1987 American College of Rheumatology criteria

- •Patients are not diagnosed amavata as per ayuvedic principles and rheumatoid arthritis. Individuals of below and above the age. Patients suffering from other systemic disorders like tuberculosis, SLE.
