•1.Patients willing to undergo regenerative treatment for intrabony defects.
•2.Presence of intrabony defect with a clinical probing pocket depth of >= 6mm, with radiographic evidence.
•3.Systemically healthy patients.
•4.Patients who have not been on any medications within the last 6 months which may alter the periodontal status.

•1.Patients unwilling to participate in the study.
•2.Smokers and alcoholic patients.
•3.Pregnant and lactating mothers.
•4.Patients who have undergone periodontal treatment within the last 1 year.
•5.Patients with plaque index >1 and who are unwilling to follow oral hygiene practices after phase I therapy.
