- •Children between 1 month and 14 years of age admitted to the IPD and PICU, dept. of paediatrics, All India institute of medical sciences, Bhubaneswar during the study period if they satisfy case definition of AES as per NVBDCP(national vector Borne disease control programme)guideline of India and have baseline GCS of ââ?°Â¤ 12

- •1. Duration of illness > 14 days at presentation
- •2. Known bleeding disorder
- •3. Vasculitis
- •4. Cerebral hemorrhage
- •5. Retinal Hemorrhage
