•Older than 18 years;
•Rhinosinusitis without polyps or rhinosinusitis with polyps, according to the EPOS 2012 research criteria;
•Never submitted to nasal or nasosinusal surgery;
•Indication of surgical treatment due to failure to initial routine clinical treatment.

•Inability to answer the questionnaires;
•Pregnant or lactating women;
•Absolute contraindication to the use of corticosteroids;
•Previous diagnosis of immunodeficiencies;
•Previous diagnosis of nasosinusal neoplasms;
•Previous diagnosis of primary ciliary dyskinesias;
•Previous diagnosis of cystic fibrosis;
•Use, in the 30 days prior to the inclusion in the study, of oral, intramuscular or intravenous corticosteroids.
