A comparative study on the efficacy of oral Pregabalin versus intravenous Dexmedetomidine as premedication on hemodynamic response during laryngoscopy in elective surgeries

This study is a randomized , double blind, parallel group , single centered trial comparing efficacy of Oral Pregabalin and intravenous Dexmedetomidine as premedication in 100 patients undergoing general anesthesia for elective surgeries that will be conducted in Sri Venkateshwaraa medical college hospital and research centre . The primary outcome measures will be change in  Mean arterial pressure, Blood pressure, Heart rate during laryngoscopy and intubation . The secondary outcomes will be incidence of any side effects intraoperatively.
