入选标准

  • Normal weight (BMI = 18.5 – 25.0)

排除标准

  • Pregnancy, breastfeeding
  • Presence of a serious or chronic condition causing significant health impairments (e.g. cancer, cardiovascular disease, thyroid disorders, bowel diseases) or an acute illness at the time of the examination
  • Known metabolic disorder (e.g. lipid metabolism disorder, type 1 or 2 diabetes mellitus)
  • Taking medication (exception: contraceptives)
  • Consumption of MCT within the past 4 weeks
  • Mental or speech impairments
  • Low-carb or other dietary regimens involving a sustained reduction in carbohydrate intake (EFSA: at least 45% of energy from carbohydrates)
  • Diagnosed eating disorders
  • Known swallowing disorders or conditions involving clinically significant dysphagia or an increased risk of aspiration
  • Donation of whole blood within the last 3 months and/or donation of blood plasma within the last 4 weeks prior to the start of the study
  • Intolerance to sucralose or other sweeteners
  • Difficult or impossible venous blood sampling due to anatomical conditions or other medical reasons (e.g. veins that are difficult to locate, fragile or severely sclerosed)
  • Severe fear of blood sampling or injections
  • Functional bowel disorders (particularly irritable bowel syndrome), lactose intolerance, milk protein allergy
