•Patients between 18 to 65 years of both genders posted for thyroid and parathyroid surgeries.

排除标准

•Preoperative vocal cord abnormalities
•Upper airway obstruction and abnormalities in supraglottic anatomy
•Restricted mouth opening
•Increased risk of aspiration like morbid obesity, pregnancy
•Patients refusing to participate in the study
