This study aims to compare the effectiveness of individualized homoeopathic medicines prepared in two different potencies Centesimal and 50 millesimal in patients with hyperuricemia . Patient aged 18 to 65 years with raised serum uric acid level and symptoms such as joint pain or swelling will receive individualized homoeopathic medicines for the duration of 4 months period .The primary outcome will be the change in blood uric acid levels. Secondary measures include improvement in self reported health MYMOP2 score assessment and causal relation of improvement through MONARCH score and monitoring for any adverse drug reactions. The study will help to determine which potency scale offers better clinical benefit. No new medicine will be trailed. All the medicines will be administered orally. All the medicines will be procured from the GMP certified company. Potency, dose and repetition will be as per the principles of homoeopathy.

- •1 Serum uric acid levels more than 7.0 mg per dL in males and more than 6.0 mg per dL in females 2 Symptomatic Hyperuricemia like joint pain swelling restricted mobility 3 Patient who can understand either English or Bengali or Hindi languages 4 Willing to Provide written Informed Consent.

- •1 Patients suffering from uncontrolled systemic illnesses or life threatening illnesses 2 Complicated cases of Hyperuricemia like gout, tophi deposits, uric acid stone, chronic kidney disease 3 Pregnant or lactating women 4 Any substance abuse 5 Patients on any kind of medication for hyperuricemia 6 Unstable psychiatric illnesses.
