- •healthy men and women aged 50-65 years
排除标准
- •- People who, due to medical or physical conditions, are unable to place a sensor in the ear for 30 min per day, or would be severely restricted by doing so
- •- Active smokers (= 4 cigarettes/day)
- •- A history of chronic diseases that affect gastrointestinal function
- •- acute, active upper or lower respiratory tract infection (including Covid)
- •- drastic, unwanted weight loss (>10% last 6 months)
- •- diabetes mellitus type 1 and 2
- •- Obesity (BMI =30 kg/m²)
- •- Underweight (BMI < 19 kg/m²)
- •- Dementia
- •- Self-reported severe/active diseases of the liver, kidney, rheumatic diseases, and malignant tumors
- •- hyperlipidemia
- •- Medications that affect fat absorption/metabolism/fat transport
- •- cardiac pacemakers
