This randomized controlled study evaluated the effectiveness of Solution-Focused Couples Therapy in improving marital adjustment and intimacy among couples with one spouse diagnosed with leukemia. The intervention was delivered over seven weekly sessions. The intervention group showed significant improvements in both marital adjustment and intimacy compared to the control group, and these effects were maintained at three months follow-up. No adverse events were reported, indicating the intervention was safe and well-tolerated

- •Couples in which one spouse has a confirmed diagnosis of leukemia by a specialist physician; both partners voluntarily agree to participate in Solution-Focused Couple Therapy; at least two years of married life; age between 25 and 45 years; minimum education level equivalent to completion of middle school; ability to attend weekly therapy sessions; absence of severe psychiatric disorders or substance abuse that may interfere with participation
排除标准
- •Presence of severe cognitive impairment; diagnosis of psychotic disorders or severe psychiatric conditions; current substance dependence; simultaneous participation in another structured psychological intervention; inability to attend scheduled therapy sessions
