•The newly diagnosed cases as well as the patients under oral medication having fasting blood glucose level 126 mg/dl to 200 mg/dl or 2-hour plasma glucose level 200 mg/dl to 300 mg/dl and HbA1c% level between 6.5 to 8.5%.

•1. Patients below 25 years and above 60 years.
•2. Patients having FBS < 126 mg/dl and > 200 mg/dl and PPBS < 200 mg/dl and > 300 mg/dl.
•3. Patients having HbA1C% < 6.5 and > 8.5%.
•4. All patients of diabetes mellitus receiving insulin.
•5. Patients having chronic complications of diabetes mellitus like â??
•a. Micro vascular: Retinopathy, neuropathy & nephropathy
•b. Macro vascular: Coronary Artery Disease, Peripheral vascular disease and cerebrovascular disease
