入选标准
- •1) patients satisfying Rotterdam criterion for PCOS which is based on any two of the following features:
- •- oligomenorrhea/amenorrhea,
- •- clinical and/or biochemical hyperandrogenism,
- •- polycystic ovaries on ultrasound
- •2) patients requiring only first line treatment i.e. lifestyle modification
排除标准
- •1) patients requiring infertility treatment
- •2) patients suffering from type II diabetes / hypothyroidism /
- •hyperprolactinemia / non-classic congenital adrenal hyperplasia /
- •hypogonadotropic hypogonadism / Cushing’s disease / androgen
- •producing tumours / any other severe illness or co-morbid status
- •3) use of oral contraceptives / hormone treatment / insulin-sensitizing agents within previous six weeks
- •4) pregnancy
- •5) current or past smoker
