- •1. Septic Shock as per Sepsis 3 criteria within 24 hours from time of admission.
- •Sepsis 3 criteria are as follows:
- •a. Increase in the SOFA (Sequential Organ Failure Assessment) score of 2
- •points or more
- •b. Despite adequate fluid resuscitation, vasopressors required to maintain a
- •mean arterial pressure of 65 mm Hg or greater
- •c. Serum lactate level greater than 2mmol/L ( >18mg/dL) in the absence of
- •hypovolemia
- •2. Blood Culture positive for bacterial infection
