入排标准

入选标准

  • Patients of age group between 18 and 60 years
  • American Society of Anaesthesiologists physical status I and II
  • Patients with Modified Mallampati Grade I and II
  • Patients undergoing elective surgeries under general anaesthesia with endotracheal intubation in supine position lasting upto 2 hours

排除标准

  • Patients undergoing emergency surgery.
  • Patients who are unable to give consent.
  • Patients with contraindication to general anaesthesia.
  • Patients with H/o preoperative sore throat, upper respiratory tract infection, bronchial asthma, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).
  • Patients with known allergy to study drug.
  • Pregnant patients
  • Chronic smokers
  • Patients undergoing oral, nasal, head and neck surgeries
