简要总结

The two groups were comparable for the two steroid injection techniques. The mean pain VAS scores immediately post-injection were 6.03+/- 1.77 and 3.63+/- 1.45 in the conventional and proximal digital crease techniques, respectively. The proximal digital crease technique group had a significantly lower VAS score than that of the conventional technique group. No significant difference was observed in the two groups with regards to success rate and complications at 3and 6 and 12 weeks and 1 year follow up.
