- •* Written informed parental consent

- •* Contraindications for the use of inhalation anaesthetics
- •* Preoperative invasive ventilatory support
- •* Anticipated difficult airway
- •* Thoracoscopic- or cardiac surgery
- •* surgical procedures resulting in limited acces to the head for the anaesthetist (i.e. ENT- surgery)
- •* No written informed parental consent
