入选标准
- •Patients with sepsis or septic shock who are admitted to the intensive care unit
排除标准
- •Previously known thiamine deficiency patients
- •Patients who have been on supplemental thiamine prior to admission
- •Patients on regular alcohol consumption
- •Patients with liver dysfunction (AST/ALT >240 U/L) as patients with liver dysfunction may have elevated thiamine levels
- •Cirrhotic patients
- •Patients on dialysis, where thiamine can be eliminated .
- •Patients on any medications which can cause lactate elevation.
