- •1.For the group of preschool or underfive children:
- •a.Children 9 months or older AND (either <5 years old OR still not eligible for formal elementary school education)
- •b.Informed consent given by both parents
- •2.For the group of school children:
- •a.Children aged 6-11 years
- •b.Residing in goitre endemic areas
- •c.Informed consent by parents
- •d.Assent by the participating child
- •3.For the group of pregnant women:
- •a.Pregnant women registered at the study center
- •b.Informed written consent
