入选标准
- •Neurosurgical condition e.g. brain tumor, spinal cord tumor
- •Receive general anesthesia for neurosurgery at least 2 hours
- •ASA (American Society of Anesthesiologists) class I - II
排除标准
- •1. Baseline body temperature > 37.3 degree celsius
- •2. Increased intracranial pressure with Glasgow coma scale (GCS) score < 15
- •3. Cerebovascular condition e.g. intracerebral aneurysm, arterio-venous malformation
- •4. Spinal cord injury condition e.g. spinal shock, autonomic hyperreflexia
- •5. Hypertension both well-controlled and uncontrolled
- •6. Coronary artery disease
- •7. Thyrotoxicosis or hyperthyroidism
- •8. Abnormal autonomic nervous system response
- •9. obesity (Body mass index > 30 kg/m2)
