入排标准
入选标准
- •1 Adult male and female subjects who are referred for ECT as well as those who are treated with medication alone.
- •2 Diagnoses of major depressive Disorder (DSM-IV).
- •3 Capacity to participate in neuropsychological testing.
- •4 Preferably, new onset illness in treatment-naive subjects. Or subjects with a Fresh Episode of Depression requiring intervention with antidepressant or ECT
- •5 Preferably, patients who will likely be available for the 1-month follow up assessment.
排除标准
- •1. Age < 18 Years
- •2. Mental Retardation
- •3. Past or Current Neurological Illness (Parkinsons Disease, Epilepsy etc)
- •4. History of having recieved ECT within past 6 months.
- •5. Current use of Anti epileptics or Benzodiazepines.
- •6. Untreated or unstable Medical Condition that may influence Neuropsychological assessments.
