- •Ptaients between 18-65 years of age
- •Patients with minimum 4 weeks duration between index procedure and ileostomy closure.
排除标准
- •Stenosis of ileostomy orifice.
- •Evidence of Distal Bowel Obstruction on Contrast study.

To evaluate the recovery of bowel function after ileostomy closure with or without preoperative bowel stimulation with regards to time to passage of flatus and return of bowel sounds after surgery.
时间窗: 4 hours post operative
次要结局
- presence of prolonged ileus in terms of intolerance of oral feed, vomiting, abdominal(distension. presence of any anastomotic leakage. post operative length of hospital stay)
