简要总结

The aim is to study the effectiveness of an Ayurvedic Formulation in management of Asthikshaya (Osteoporosis) the study will be conducted with 45 patients showing signs and symptoms of Asthikshaya, they will be administered with Ayurvedic formulation 2 tablets twice a day with goghrut for the duration, conclusion will be drawn on the basis of proper statistical methods.

入选标准

•Patients having two or more clinical features of Asthikshaya like pain in bones, hair fall, skin and nail dryness, fatigue, joint loosening.
•Patients with BMD (t-score) greater than 2.4 Patients with age group of 30 to 60 years.

排除标准

•• Patients with history of any fracture or is operated within 12 months.
•• Pregnant and lactating women.
•• Patients taking calcium supplements.

结局指标

主要结局

• The symptoms of Asthikshaya such as pain in bones, hair fall are expected to be reduced.

时间窗: 28 days study with 2 follow ups (0,14,28)

次要结局

• Improvement in t-score of Bone Mineral Density.(• Improvement in Serum Calcium levels in blood.)
