•Inclusion Criteria for Expert Group
•1. Post-graduate degree in Internal Medicine/ Emer-gency Medicine
•2. Five or more years experience in treating adult hypertensive patients
•3. Working in JIPMER
•Inclusion Criteria for Patient Group
•1.Age > 30 years and Age < 75 years
•2. Diagnosis of hypertension that is being treated by a physician with stable antihypertensive medication for 6 months. (No changes to BP medication regi-men for 6 months)
•3. Not part of another ongoing study for hyperten-sion
•4. Own an android smartphone with mobile data
•5. Can use smartphone, smartwatch & BP machine
•6. Fluency in English
•7. Provide written informed consent
•8. Participant is able to follow lifestyle changes

•Exclusion Criteria for Expert and patient Groups
•1. Medical history, clinical signs or laboratory results indicating secondary hypertension, including primary aldosteronism or renal artery stenosis
•2.Average SBP > 180mmHg in last six months or current SBP of >180mmHg or DBP >100mmHg
•3. Unable or unwilling to measure BP or follow life-style changes
•4. Medical conditions that limit study participation such as resistant hypertension, hypertensive urgency or emergency, Ischemic Heart Disease, Valvular Heart Disease, Pulmonary Hypertension, heart failure, peripheral arterial disease, atrial fibrillation, tachy/bradyarrhythmia on any kind of cardiac rhythm management device, aortic stenosis, severe arthritis, renal failure, visual/auditory/ cognitive/motor impairment.
•5. Pregnancy
•6. Inability to understand study procedures and/or the informed consent process
•7. Other medical complications that preclude completion of the study as determined by the principal investigator.
