•Clinical inclusion criteria:
•1. Mandibular 1st and 2nd permanent mature molars with deep caries, (Caries reaching the inner quarter of dentine, but with a zone of hard or firm dentine between the caries and the pulp, which is radiographically detectable when located on an interproximal or occlusal surface.) and symptomatic irreversible pulpitis. (European Society of Endodontology 2019).
•2. Patients of age groups 18 to 45 with permanent mature molars.
•3. No abnormal tooth mobility or pockets or periodontal involvement, clinical swelling and pus exudate/fistula.
•4. Positive exaggerated and prolonged response to cold test and electric pulp test.
•5. Tooth which can be restored to its form and function.
•6. Patients with no significant medical problems.
•7. Patients with no history of use of NSAIDS 24 hrs before the procedure
•Radiographic inclusion criteria:
•1. The radiolucent caries penetrating into at least three-quarters of the inner dentin thickness. (Bjorndal 2019)
•2. Extremely deep carious lesions (Bjorndal 2019) will be excluded.
•3. Tooth with periapical index up to 03.

•Clinical exclusion criteria:
•1. Sinus tract with or without pus discharge.
•2. Bleeding from pulp exposure site could not be controlled within 10 min.
•3. No response on pulp testing.
•4. Tenderness on percussion present.
•Radiographic exclusion criteria:
•1. Periapical index score of more than 03.
•2. The presence of internal or pathologic external root resorption, calcification or pulp canal obliteration, open apex/immature teeth.
