入选标准
- •American Society of Anaesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I to IV, admitted in ICU, requiring mechanical ventilation and tracheostomy.
排除标准
- •1. BMI ââ?°Â¥35 kg/m2
- •2. Limited neck movement
- •3. Cervical spine injury
- •4. Aberrant blood vessels in the neck
- •5. Thyroid or tracheal pathology
- •6. Previous neck surgeries
- •7. Anatomical distortion of trachea or preexisting tracheomalacia
- •8. Radiotherapy on neck region , previous or ongoing
- •9. Coagulopathy, clotting disorder
- •10. Oxygen requirement greater than 0.8 fraction of inspired oxygen (FiO2) or greater than 10
- •cm of water positive end expiratory pressure(PEEP)
- •11. Infection in the soft tissues of the neck or at the tracheostomy site
