- •Male or female with metastasized or locally advanced oesophageal and/or gastric cancer receiving standard first-line palliative chemotherapy (capecitabine/oxaliplatin)
- •- Age between 30-70 years

- •- Smoking, XTC, amphetamine or cocaine abuse
- •- Alcohol abuse (>3/day)
